DelvinAfter Jameel Patrick’s exceptional Album “Crepuscular: The Symphony” was released, we caught up with an insightful interview with such a talented artist to explore his eidetic experience and what he had to say about his incredible musical journey so far. Read below to learn some interesting details about Jameel
It’s an honor to speak with you today. Why don’t you give us some details about you and your story. How did you get to where you are today?
It’s a pleasure, I’m a fan your of your platform. I have been doing music independently for over 10 years. Around 2018 after bouts of depression, I began to reflect on my past and presence. Thinking about the years I’ve worked with many types of kids, I began to wonder if I was undiagnosed on the autism spectrum. Last year I met with someone in the field who said that he thinks that I am. Months later I made a song called Desiderium, which briefly talks about that process. That inspired me to make more songs that eventually became the Crepuscular records.
Congratulations on your latest album “Crepuscular: The Symphony”, how do you feel about the newfound success?
Thanks. It’s always a pleasure when people enjoy the music that you put out
What was the Inspiration behind the album?
Crepuscular represents dawn or dusk before it gets dark. In relation to the music, it represents the time period in life before the dark. When it’s dark it sometimes feels like its dark forever and some seasons it is dark longer. But eventually the sun peaks and the light comes
What single off the album “Crepuscular: The Symphony”, do you anticipate its taking off both on charts and with listeners/fans?
Probably Blue Flame. So far that’s the one that people are telling me that they like the most.
Which release of yours has had a large impact on your life, whether the storyline was based on a life experience or the process of putting the song together helped you approach music production differently?
I mentioned Desiderium, on this record there’s a song called Denouement, which is a follow up to that. Therefore I tried to use the same song structure while also making it have its own identity.
Everybody is influenced by somebody else. Who would you consider some of your biggest musical influences and how are they influential?
Boyz II Men and Linkin Park, which is weird because they are very different from each other and what I do. But besides being huge fans of both, what I love is that within their genre, they’re so creative that they become the measuring sticks instead of the genre.
Where do you see your career headed in the following year?
I plan on releasing singles at least every 6 weeks and finishing a story that I started this year
Thank you for speaking with us! For our final question, is there anything else you would like to add?
Thank you everyone reading and if at first you don’t succeed then you’re not Chuck Norris

DelvinAn artist emerging from the glimpsing shades of talent; DURINGTHETYME who hails from Atlanta Georgia has been able to redesign his own music style that integrates some aesthetic sounds in R&B with the euphonies embellished in the psychedelic, trap, rock, and pop feel for that gratifying feel. For the extra pleasure and dynamism, he also colors his sound with some dark aesthesis to reimagine the gloomy world of R&B and electronic pop in ways only he can manage to!
“From Dusk Till Dawn” feels like a fresh hit off of The Weekend’s record label! The strong vocal performances and the keen eye for melody as displayed are excellent; talk about the vocal layering and catchy lyrical hooks. This is a surprisingly atmospheric track that contains subtle hints from a number of diverse genres, ranging from R&B, electronic pop, neo-soul, psychedelic hip-hop, and house. There is a great deal of melody here. The elements such as piano, bass, and drums together with other complex instrumentation work really well to add a sense of melodic maturity to the track.
Flaunting its skillful style; the song’s format and flow to the individual instrumental performance and the lyrical and emotional energies supporting the track ground their expectations for the tune in the realm of R&B and psychedelia. The vocals enter with a decidedly more blues-oriented feel and take on even further color and depth with the addition of vocal harmonies for the chorus. Soulful and subtle percussions play the lead vocal melody, creating a dialogue to give and take that amount into cathartic exposition later in the track.
Each instrumentation carries its respective part perfectly, though the bass specifically steps out of the pocket with impressive flair throughout the experience; overall this is an exceptional piece of R&B writing and performance with a stylistically powerful lead vocal expression to guide it home. It is like an endearing combo between Usher and Chris Brown with some Juice WRLD thrown in there!
The tracks’ heartfelt and heavy lyrics are bound to resonate among discerning listeners who have dealt with genuine love firsthand!
