Some music you listen to, others you experience and feel; Tony Hernandez’s “Amor Eterno” is the latter. With a well-documented journey that harkens back to the 80s, his journey is one that has been marked by both exploration and discovery. He has been a master of sound, shining brilliantly whether solo or with a band. And sure, with the band, he could always lean into the dynamics, but with the solo act, his lyrics take on a different hue—one that invites deeper, more thoughtful listening. His discography is a treasure trove of sonic collections…and that’s before you can factor in the unreleased music captured somewhere in old cassettes, drives, or journals. As a music fan, he is the dream artist—one whose longevity is matched only by his ambition to always outdo himself and create good music that will leave listeners uplifted, inspired, and entertained.
Hernandez sings about life experiences; love, trials and tribulations, triumphs, friendships, family, and other instantly identifiable topics, allowing any sort of listener to gravitate towards his music as they feel more connected and less alone in their experiences.
Let’s switch our focus to that riveting album “Amor Eterno,” shall we? Well, as you can already guess, this is a masterclass in Latin music with the title directly translating to “Eternal Love.” This was Hernandez’s first ever project made…a testament to his knack for creating music that stands the test of time!
As the album starts unfolding, the skillfully crafted harmonies and melodies make contact with an eager listener’s ears, transporting them to blissful places, sometimes nostalgic and sometimes joyful. Tony effortlessly invokes emotions without ever straining for effect. Each song here is the result of a unique story, sonically blending guitar and drum-driven soundscapes with authentic Latin rock.
I have to say that the recording and mix are actually of a very high standard, and the songs boast great sonic clarity and warmth. Throughout, Hernandez lets us savor the thickness and variety of his stylistic caliber, reminding us at every turn of the power and gist of good, catchy, and timeless music!
An impeccable sonic banquet showcasing the remarkable talent of an affable master of musicianship, “Amor Eterno” tells the stories of eternal love; stories worthy of the big screen. Lyrically, you are taken through the stories of longing hearts, desperately wanting to be connected by true, unending love. By the end of your listening experience, your vulnerability will have been tested to its limits, and right there is the true power of music to move its listener.
The title track “Amor Eterno” is an authentic centerpiece with a stunning blend of well-placed guitars, drums, and bass, backed by the emotive expressiveness of Hernandez’s authentic vocals as he sings his way into a listener’s heart with vulnerable and honest lyrics. This tune is melodic and quite frankly unforgettable.
Another sonic charm has got to be “Las Mujeres de Mi Vida” which refers to “The Women of My Life.” With this jam, you can feel Hernandez’s heart and soul in the performance. It is hauntingly beautiful, and the stringed instrument underscores the emotional appeal and depth of the tune. May I say that this is one of my personal favorites from the album, and it left such a lasting impression.
I also found the song “Tu No Me Perdonas” an ear candy because of its smoothness and deep-seated emotions. The Keys are telling and give it a cinematic allure, and the vocal performance by Hernandez elevates the track’s melancholic emotions, giving it that raw edge that is stunning to be drawn into.
Well, for any music fanatic who revels in beautiful Spanish music, you are spoilt for choice here in an album that is culturally relevant, nostalgic, and skillfully executed from top to bottom.
Tony Hernandez wants to remix this whole album and give it that modern edge before re-releasing it to the music world. Before that happens, you can get to revel in such awesomeness as this and tell someone about it.
IurisEkero has always had that producer aura where every synth feels like it’s holding hands with your feelings. On AURA, that instinct expands into cinematic storytelling. He even marked the release with a sunset ceremony at the base of the Andes, like he was unlocking a secret level in a music RPG. You can’t fake that kind of commitment. It gives the album a clear vibe: this is meant to be lived, not treated like something you leave running in the background.
He stays in a contemporary pop lane, polished but heartfelt, digital yet soft around the edges. The textures are warm. The vocal layers feel like a hug. And there’s a sense that each song stands as its own emotional chapter. The point is mood-building, not novelty. AURA ends up feeling like 16 different emotional passports, each stamped with a slightly different shade of hope, doubt, desire, or relief.
The album kicks off with “The Password Of My Heart,” a title that sounds cheesy until the production hits. Then it turns into a confession wrapped in shimmering synths. He moves gently, almost whisper soft, and the chorus floats in like he’s opening a door you weren’t sure you should walk through. It’s a smart opener because it sets the standard early: sweetness, yes, but with detail and control.
“Didn’t See You Today” brings the jolt. It’s dance pop in full gear, bright, jumpy, and built around a beat that sounds designed to rescue someone from a bad mood. The female vocals glide across the instrumental with precision, as if they arrived already locked into the same emotional tempo. The track is glossy, but it keeps the album’s softness intact, the warmth never drains out.
In the middle, “Aura” sits like a breathing space. It’s modern pop with emotional density, yet airy enough that you can drift with it. This is the one you play while staring at something far away, pretending you’re in a movie even if you’re just sitting on a bus. The hook doesn’t have to shout. The feeling does the work.
The crown jewel is “We Are All In One,” the single that has already pushed past 222k streams on Spotify. The appeal is immediate. The lyrics read like a sunrise pep talk from your favorite person:
“Woke up dreaming. Sky is clear, got the world beneath my feet…”
“Every moment, every glance feels like magic.”
“You’re my fire, my best friend.”
It’s warm, melodic, and sweet, and it carries an electronic bounce that keeps it from getting too soft. Romantic, yes, but it avoids the clingy tone that can flatten songs like this. It lifts you up without turning into a self-help poster. This is the track for the walk home after a long day, the moment you need a reminder that life can still glow.
The deeper cuts give the album its emotional spine. “Even Miracles Take a Little Time” and “Invisible Gravity” lean into introspection with an almost therapeutic honesty. Then he pivots into higher energy with “Let’s Ignite the Night” and “Cut Loose,” tracks that feel like the soundtrack to the moment you decide to stop overthinking everything. The shifts don’t feel random. They read like a real emotional arc, the way a night out can start with doubt and end with release.
As the album closes with “Don’t Get Your Hopes Up,” he returns to vulnerability, the real kind, not the Instagram caption version. The yin and yang in his music stays front and center, joy alongside uncertainty, light alongside shadow. That duality is what makes AURA feel human.
And that Andes launch seals the whole concept. He turned an album into a communal moment. As the sun dropped, each track played like a ritual chapter, a shared breath between strangers. It transformed AURA from a playlist into a lived memory. Artists talk about unity. Here, he actually staged it.
If you want more than background music, AURA is a recommendation. Each track is layered with feeling, melody, and energy that makes you hit replay before the last note fades. Stream it, share it.

Montreal-based pop sensation and LGBTQ activist Van Hechter is back with “Boy Problems,” a stunning new single. The track merges his signature upbeat charm with rare emotional depth. Hechter, known for hits like “Disco Brother,” “Hot Damn,” and “Love Elastic,” reveals a new side to his magnetic electro-pop personality, offering a message that is both radiant and raw.
At 4 minutes and 24 seconds, “BoyProblems” is a bilingual (French & English) eruption of glitter, melancholy, and empowerment. It’s built on irresistible synths, glossy production, and pulsing basslines. The song invites listeners into a world where heartbreak beats in rhythm with liberation. The melodies feel euphoric on the surface, yet are stained with a haunting vulnerability, proving that dancing and deep feeling can exist together.
At its core, the song is a manifesto about refusing to settle for half-love. Van delivers lyrics that make you sway, smile, and suddenly pause; the truth stings. If love isn’t loud, real, and fully given, he’d rather walk away. It’s a reminder wrapped in rhythm: loving yourself means refusing the small version of what you deserve.
Filled with Hechter’s signature humor, glamour, and optimism, “Boy Problems” is a club anthem and a soul-stirrer all at once. The bilingual lyrics expand its emotional reach. The track feels at home anywhere, from Parisian dance floors and New York rooftops to headphones on a bus or speakers at Pride.
This is a jam that makes you feel like you’re flying, free from pretense. It’s definitively dance-pop and unmistakably Van Hechter, though the smile has a real heartbeat underneath. Listeners will hear that signature flair; he’s still cheeky, stylish, and unapologetically queer. His artistry is simply sharpened with new emotional honesty. This is a growth moment, delivered with a wink and a synth hook.
“Boy Problems” is a significant step beyond a simple catchy single. It’s a toast to self-worth. A glittering rebellion against lukewarm love. A reminder that the dance floor can be a place to heal. This sonic centerpiece belongs on your playlist, and on your friends’ too.
