Inspirational Artist Anthony Hardin Is Set to Release His New Affirmative Album Titled “But You”

Anthony Hardin But You

As you press play, you immediately subscribe to something bigger than yourself as you enjoy the spiritful songs and experience the depths of worship, fellowship, boisterous testimonies, and inspiring victories. “But You” is a 22-track collection including instrumentals by the ex-military man Anthony Hardin who has always used his musical talents to serve the one true God.

Anthony Hardin has always been willing to use his musical skills to spread the gospel and touch people’s hearts with his testimonies. As a well-traveled man, he has interacted with more than enough people and been to so many countries on different continents to understand that our strength as human beings lies in our diversity, not in what we have been made to believe through divisive fallacies and conspiracies from people who obviously benefit from our alienation from one another.

Throughout his life, he has also experienced his fair share of calamities, including the loss of his three brothers to cancer, and instead of these life-altering situations shaking his faith and belief, they actually strengthened him and iron-forged his commitment and firm trust in the true power of God.

“But You” has been personified through the eyes of a human relationship with God with tracks that take on a heartfelt and expressive tone coupled with catchy earworm production. Anthony also collaborated with various artists from Jamaica, Nigeria, Ukraine, and Italy.

While “But You” features affirmative talks and messages to and with God, I also feel that there are tunes here whose messages transcend the four walls of the church. You know, bringing that creativity to worship so that they aren’t merely music in church but anthems you can listen to any day of the week!

The title track, “But You” is a heartwarming duet with a Nigerian female vocalist who adds to the track’s color and elegance. The moderate tempo and gentle groove provide a solid foundation for both singers’ vocals. Anthony sings with a mature tone tinged with acknowledgment of God’s everlasting and ever-knowing status.

“But You” calls for the change to start with us before anywhere else. It is actually a message all of us could use.

“You Were, Are, And Will Be” is another duet featuring a guest female singer from Jamaica.  This tune features some dulcet guitar and piano melodies and harmonies and an accomplished performance with a clear devotion to the themes that run through it about God’s never-changing situation and his ever-lasting grace on each and every one of us.

“I Will Not Say Your Name” is a song about cancer, with Anthony failing to acknowledge it by name because he believes the disease is powerless, and even for those who perished in its tragic existence, including his brothers, the battle was never theirs to fight.

In this track, Anthony sings with a poignant tone imbued with a recent loss. Lyrically, the tune finds comfort and strength in God to overcome cancer and loss. While our time on earth is temporary, this journey gives us hope in the everlasting presence of God. The lyrics are affecting, and the message and purpose of the song are even more fulfilling.

“One of These Times” acknowledges how God has always remained faithful to us even when we have failed him over and over again—he still has never given up on us. He is always giving us second chances even when we don’t deserve them.

“But You” will officially be available for streaming and purchase on May 12, 2023. The pre-save link is already available on Anthony Hardin’s official website and his social media handles, which we are going to attach.

“We’ve Moved You Away”- a single off of this album is expected for an early release on April 21, 2023, together with “Miss Me With This Sheet”, a track that is not on the album but is a pre-release anthem.
