After Will’s exceptional album “Will Tomorrow Ever Come” was released, we caught up with an insightful interview with such a talented artist to explore his eidetic experience and what he had to say about his incredible musical journey so far. Read below to learn some interesting details about Will.

It’s an honor to speak with you today. Why don’t you give us some details about you and your story. How did you get to where you are today?

I had to spend endless hours training so that I could eventually make music with fine sound quality. I started with music when I was very young, but making beats and mixing, I started with that when I was 17, today I’m 29. Growing up in South Afrca there’s no surprise that I eventually started making music as soon as I landed in Sweden. It just made sense to me, and it still does.

Congratulations on your latest album “Will tomorrow ever come”, how do you feel about the newfound success?

It feels like a new beginning. It’s my EDM debut and also my first album. And I feel like I know where to go from here.

What was the Inspiration behind the album?

I always start by looking for cool sounds in my sounds system. Whatever sounds I find that day might help make my future song. That’s how “Blue Night Sky” was made. It was one of over 200 melodies I had waiting to be finished. It’s hard to tell where exactly that melody feeling came from.

What single off the project “Will tomorrow ever come” do you anticipate its taking off both on charts and with listeners/fans?

So far, “Blue Night Sky” is the only official single, but it’s not the hardest song on my album, it is just cool and fresh, so we thought we should give it a chance. It is hard to tell what’s gonna happen next, the album is already released and we do not see clear dominance between the songs.

Are there any specific artists or albums that have influenced you through your musical journey?

When it comes to making as hard drums as possible, Dr. Dre is responsible for that. When it comes to EDM, it’s Avicii. But I’m also more than capable of making Pop and Hip Hop, a long list of good producers are responsible for that. The album is inspired by countless EDM producers across the globe.

Where do you see your career headed in the following year?

Next year: It’s clear to me that I should keep going, and that EDM is probably the near future of music, judging by the pandemic and people longing to go out. I strongly believe I’ll evolve as an artist and reach out to more people through my music.

What’s your motto or the advice you live by?

I honestly try to do exactly what I want, that way I can stay happy.

Thank you for speaking with us! For our final question, is there anything else you would like to add?

We need a better way of looking at musicians, and creative a better future for them. Sometimes you’re loking at a guy with a guitar and think “just another loser or failed musician”. We must systematically have musicians paid just enough to keep entertaining through their music, no matter how “not” successfull they are. Lord knows how we gonna do that.
