Baltimore’s Emerging Indie rock band ‘Waterplanet Band‘ has a way of turning every release into an irresistible singalong. Their latest single “Girl” retains that enticing feel. The song which is taken from their New EP “Never Far” is a great way to introduce you to them.

‘Girl’ has a floral but strong, folksy feel, since it emphasizes “a stupid girl,” who staggers through life yet knows “some day, when I’m big and clever, I’m going to knock the castle down in the sky.”
All this is the work of imagistic songwriters and multi-instrumentalists Millie Landrum and James Hesser and generally sounds invitingly edgy. “Never Far” offers an engaging listening experience.
