For some time now, multi-genre singer-songwriter Van Wilder has been advancing music that is rich and intricate and authentically spans the spectrum of genre definitions in unique ways. Backed by his mastery of genre knowledge, Wilder commands the stage with complex and rhythmic grooves, fascinating audiences while they connect on a deeper level even outside the lyrical storytelling. And as a man who is always learning and willing to take his sound to the next level, he is set to continue reshaping and reinventing himself in this ever-shifting industry while staying on the cutting edge of new sounds and genres while still managing to maintain his essence as a versatile artist.

He has a new eclectic jam dubbed “FTPA” that is out now on all streaming platforms. The first time I listened to this tune, it actually hit me how great a songwriter Van Wilder actually is. This track is no different from what I consume on the radio and if anything, it actually is better than some of the tracks that make it on radio plays.

“FTPA” comes off genre-bending, albeit with a consistent pop dominance, as Wilder takes his listener deep into the cravings of a lonely heart that needs something to keep it afloat lest it succumb to loneliness!

Marked with theme-perfect lines that are catchy and easily quotable, “FTPA” is a track you can easily sing along to. The melodies are lush and prolific, and the way they have been designed with their seemingly lively and buoyant features means that you can also dance along to them comfortably!

Another strong highlight to this single is of course Van Wilder’s faultlessly powerful vocals; they are cottony, sweet-talking and glossy and lusciously slink over the luxuriant melodies, offering life to this masterpiece in inexplicably beautiful ways.

And that prepossessing cover art is telling in a way, and I acknowledge the creativity that went into designing it; it’s very eye-catching! I also found the lines “You can bring the tears

But you don’t know to wipe em up” very deep.

There you have it folks; “FTPA” is instantly recognizable with an abundance of likable components that I have no doubt you will fall in love with.
