After the hype and encouraging reception he received from his single “Sola,” Valenciz teamed up with the renowned producer SJ The Taylor to bring us an eccentric reggaeton Ep named “Tres.”
Valenciz is an East-London songwriter-vocalist who mixes Reggaeton with the diverse sounds of multicultural London to produce a fresh and enigmatic form of Latin influenced music. Inspired by a variety of musical genres including Grime, Valenciz has also been heavily influenced by artists like Don Omar, Daddy Yankee and Zion y Lennox.
The lyrics, the arrangement of the song and the singing skills are all there. Valenciz’s new EP “Tres” is hot and bold, and with its reggaeton beat and tightly compressed vocals, it’s certainly the kind of reggaeton album that fans will dance and listen to again.
“Pa Lo” is hands up my favorite song on the project, although the entire album is a regal body of work and proof that he puts his heart and soul into the craft. It is an aggressively flowing and lyrical song that is voiced over a true reggaeton beat .
This new release not only reveals his steady growth but also introduces us to another exciting talent, Odreii.
