Thank you for speaking with us! How’s everything for you this year?
Everything this year is going great, just released my first single off my upcoming Ep so its wonderful.
Please tell us more about your single “Show Me” How did this song first come together and what is the inspiration behind it?
A new upcoming producer by the name of Houston produced it sent me some tracks and that was one of the track when i first heard it i knew it was special.
What is your creative process when creating new music?
My creative process is more of letting the music tell me what to write I listen to a track over and over and lyrics just start to come to me and i just get behind the mic and let it flow.
Are there any specific artists or albums that have influenced you through your musical journey?
Artists that have really influenced me are of course Michael Jackson, Teddy Pendergrass album TP was one of the first R&B records i ever heard because that was my parents favorite, and i think thats how my tone became to sound a lot like his lol! James Brown, Bobby brown, Gearld Levert, prince, tank, and Bruno mars album 24k magic really help put a breath of fresh air back into music for me.
What’s something most people don’t know about you?
Most people don’t know that im a gamer i love me some Xbox lol! my game of choice is RDR2
Is there one song (either yours or from someone else) that’s most meaningful to you? Why?
A song that really means A lot to me is a song I have called Heart breaker it was the first song my grandmother really got to hear of mine before she passed and she loved it.
Who are you listening to at the moment?
Right now im feeling a lot of lady vocalist i got Jazmine sulivan in my playlist, Ari Lennox, SZA, Rick Ross, Leon Bridges and Giveon
Where do you see your career headed in the next 5 years?
In the next five years, i see myself having a loyal fan base and being able to tour the country
For our final question, is there anything else you would like to add?
I would just like to add that i call my music feel-good music i try to make music for the soul
