TuskHead’s creative career spans multiple disciplines; he is a composer, lyricist, producer, and multi-instrumentalist. A musical genius by any right, he has an effortless demeanor with which he seamlessly blends several genres into one impeccably manicured body of work with that spacious intimacy and hands-on craftsmanship. With a style of music that cleverly cuts across the Americana and folk brand with a little detour down the countryside, TuskHead has been able to re-imagine a special kind of music that is meaningfully experimental and ridiculously familiar!

Through his music, TuskHead represents the mood he wishes to emit to his audiences—for them to get a mental ‘high’ off his words while the mostly dominant guitar melodies soothe the soul. So if you find yourself smitten by his overall work, you are not quite sure from where the feeling is being exuded; maybe it is the euphoric melodies and that breathtaking American-folk-country fusion or the gently-nourished vocals that serenade your exposed bear soul, or better yet, maybe it is the whole deft arrangement backed by pristine songwriting!

Come April 21st, 2023, TuskHead will be unleashing his latest EP, “Little Light,” on all the major streaming platforms. A 5-piece collection, I admit that this is one of the most diverse and fulfilling bodies of work I have treated my ears to in quite a long time. This EP looks at light and darkness with a brilliant contrast, both in melody and lyrics.

Capturing a feeling of nostalgia that is both introspective and bundled up with darkness and optimism for the future, TuskHead delivers a confidently unique collection that is sure to shine bright in the hearts and ears of its listeners. I feel that in the making of this ear-grabbing piece, TuskHead wanted to capture both a sense of nostalgia for past experiences and also a feeling of hope for what is to come.

Proving once again that he is not a novice act, TuskHead delivers a heartwarming EP worthy of critical praise. I still have not gotten over those hypnotic melodies from the opening track, “Three Words”; I have to admit that this one is my favorite from the collection. It is fully realized, addicting, and exudes such an undeniably likable vibe that is irresistible.

The guitar technique in this track too is otherworldly—this is guitar virtuosity at its finest, and those vocals are as powerful as they are unique; ebbing and flowing over the luscious melodies with such a harmonious impact. This track is expected to release first on February 17th, 2023, and I have no doubt listeners will like what they hear!

“Lose Control” features a warm, upbeat melody that you can dance along to cheerfully. It is the kind that takes you somewhere, on a typical evening bonfire with a guitar by the sea!

“Wings” is subtly sentimental; you can feel some strong raw emotions from both the vocal performance and the lyrics. This track was performed in honor of TuskHead’s grandparents after his grandma passed away last year. This emotionally grabbing tune honors the steering role in everyone’s life and how they still keep guiding us even from far away!

The last two tracks, “Fall” and “I Am the Night,” are a bit dark; they are laid-back with soulful harmonies and melodies and echo the hurt, heartbreaks, and all that web of confusion as you try to seek light in a place engulfed in total darkness. “I Am the Night” is a self-condemnatory anthem about how we sometimes feel like we don’t deserve good things as much as people in our lives because we might end up ruining them because we are broken inside!

Overall, “Little Light” is such a powerful EP that it will only serve to elevate TuskHead to international acclaim. Mark April 21st on your calendars and listen to the first single “Three Words” which has now been officially released.

Keep up with TuskHead and his journey on:
