New Jersey Artist Tribe Mark Gets Added To Eddy Kenzo’s Festival Line Up After Becoming Discovered By Davido

It all started with a simple repost from Afrobeat sensation, Davido. Tribe Mark also known as Markens Charles took to Instagram to post his cover of “Blow My Mind” a song by Chris Brown and Davido which turned out to be a career enhancing decision which has materialized into a domino effect of opportunities ever since the “Stand Strong” singer reshared the post to his upwards of 24 million followers. Aside from Tribe’s cover video achieving viral status all over the internet, another African artist by the name of Eddy Kenzo stumbled upon the video which prompted him to invite Tribe Mark to a studio session where they ended up collaborating on 5 songs, 2 of which made it onto Eddy Kenzo’s album, “Made in Africa”.

In a recent interview with Lady Diviniti, Tribe Mark expresses his gratitude for Eddy Kenzo, “Man he’s like a brother to me, he flew me out to Africa for the first time to shoot our music videos, he brought me on Afronation my first major show for the biggest crowd I performed for which was over 50,000 people. I shared the stage with Burna Boy, Wizkid, Davido, Megan Thee Stallion, and Rick Ross to name a few, as a result I’ve been able to sign with the booking agency ICM. Eddy’s gestures have definitely been transformative to my music career and I’m honored to be here in Uganda now, touring alongside him at his festival. It’s a celebration”

Though Tribe Mark has been added to the Eddy Kenzo festival in Uganda, he’s also simultaneously partaking in his own 5 week international tour. His first performance began May 21st on the stage of American rapper Rick Ross’s 1st Annual Car And Bike Show at his Georgia estate ‘The Promise Land’. Later during that evening Tribe was also honored with his own billboard to promote his latest single “Going Kanye Crazy” sponsored by the full service media company and agency Big Indy Presents.

Tribe Mark is proof that great things can come to you when you simply believe in yourself enough to put yourself out there.
