Destiny has a way of making things happen; what started as a plan to record a few songs blossomed into this beautiful full band by the name of The Ardents. Formed back in 2020, their discography now boasts three full-length studio albums and the band is not slowing down any time soon. This multi-diverse band is known for their critically deservedly acclaimed way in which they fuse the elements of rock, country, and blues for that tasteful sound that cuts across and is not limited by the bottlenecks of defined genres. They are explorative and they improvise stunningly and that is what separates them from other wannabe bands.

They are back with a full-length 9-piece album “Come on” and like always they did not disappoint in this enchanting collection. This is the undeniable mark of accomplished songwriting and consummate performance and delivery that displays their unbreakable chemistry backed by their maestro status!

“Come on” is the first single off of this album- a detailed and crisp sound that isn’t afraid to traverse across multiple genres. The lead female vocalist delivers a soul-stirring vocal performance that is so pure and emotive. The endearingly prolific beats carry the intrigue of dynamism. The drums drip with a bluesy euphonic feeling with the acoustic guitars carrying a quintessential country aesthesis. The electronic elements on the other hand bring to the table rock character and punch. All this blended with the polished female vocals and you have your favorite record of the year!

There is no way she will fall down for you in, ‘Won’t Fall Down!”- The upbeat soulful beats that are perfectly embellished with a touch of enticing synthetic percussions will arrest your attention. The fine artistic details allow this track to build and then a transcending rock melodic moment joins in to take a listener through a marvelous rollercoaster. The female vocals pull you into the emotionally captivating chorus and you really wish this tune didn’t have to end!

“Call out your name” has a haunting electric guitar performed with virtuosity and flair. This is truly a sensational blues/rock-fusion extravaganza that is steeped in both authenticity and character. Featuring mind-blowing technique and fantastical melodic maturity, this track is an inspiring piece of songwriting that will leave listeners’ jaws dropped and ethereally astonished. The lead female vocalist delivers an indescribably outstanding vocal performance and serves as a spectacular display of impeccable phrasing, exceptional dynamic control, and intriguing tonal precision!

“Save Me” is ingratiating from the word go with the bass-colored beats creating rhapsody and thrill inside of a listener. The enchanting female vocals dance their way in the imposing fire of the beat and bring out the raw emotions behind the lyrics. And like there is no saving her, there is also no escaping from the bewitching spell that this tune carries with it. Sitting at the touchstone of spellbinding blues glow, there is no denying that this will move even the most emotionally stable of listeners!

“Tempo” is laid-back yet danceable and the lyrics offer a form of parity- as you lean down dancing with your partner, it is then you whisper in their ears and politely demand to know exactly what they like. The sheer amount of charisma and character in the female vocals makes for a thoroughly engaging performance that you can’t help but keep your attention firmly transfixed on. When combined with the superb melodic rock passages, the result is some extremely nuanced euphonic interaction between rock and blues that is truly electrifying!

“Loving your Eyes” is raw, impassioned, and sonically inviting with a spine-tingling bluesy attitude that is so heavenly and racy. The other tracks; “Hold Me (don’t let me drop)”, “Play Nice” and “Shadow (Acoustic version)” will feed your craving for gratifying melodic output!

This is the album and I endorse its undoubted effectiveness as a brilliant rock-blues endeavor!
