Virginia is booming with fresh talent ready to share what they’ve got with the world – including TAZ Tikoon, a, songwriter and a Hip-Hop artist who just released a 5 song EP, ‘WAV Goddess’

WAV Goddess is an Ep whose records were inspired by water.

Taz was born and raised in Virginia; where they say, “it must be something in the water.” Virginia is home to several legendary icons such as Pharrell, Missy Elliott, Allen Iverson, Timbaland, Pusha T, Chris Brown, Masego, and many more.

In 2019, Pharrell created the Something in the Water festival to highlight and pay homage to Virginia.
Taz’s mission is to continue running her marathon to bring awareness to her hometown by actively reinvesting in her community. In 2019, ΤΔZ ˈko͞on released an EP entitled mentally ill.

The EP to pay homage to her friends who took their own lives, discussing her personal struggles with depression and anxiety. whole showcasing her ill raw talent. Taz hosted and curate the PAIN-tings Art gala in VA to help artists turn their pain into PAIN-tings with the Mentally iLL soundtrack. Following the release, she became a mental health advocate spoke to over 20,000 students and teachers on the importance of mental wellness.
