T.Jones Gives A Stunning Shape To His Unique Creative Style With His Latest Groovy EP “Highly Favored”

Sheer genius is demonstrated by the fascinating versatile artist and songwriter T.Jones in his new EP “Highly Favored.” The impeccable track is creatively entertaining and captivates the audience with an immersive and catchy vibe.

We’re lucky enough to have sneaked in for an interview with a talented artist. He was generous enough to lend some of his precious moments as we gleefully stumbled deep into his personal and professional life. Here are some excerpts from the interview:

Congratulations on the release of “Highly Favored”! What was the inspiration when you were creating the EP and how long was this project in the making?

The inspiration for the project is that God has been blessing me my whole life. I’m an artist that doesn’t curse in my music and it was only right to put out a Gospel Ep. This project was in the works for a couple years, because I was doing songs here and there in between doing my regular hip hop music

What sets your music apart? What is unique, or at least uncommon?

What sets my music apart is that I don’t use profanity. When I first started doing music I was being a follower and not a leader. What I mean by that is I wasn’t being myself and was influenced by what I was around. In 2008 is when I found my lane and I’ve been riding in it this whole time.

What were the biggest initial hurdles to pursuing your musical dreams and how did you overcome them?

My biggest hurdles were that I didn’t know anything. From writing, understanding studio lingo, how to book shows etc. I overcame it all by just staying consistent and focused on what I wanted to do

What has been the best moment in your musical career that you’re most proud of?

I’m proud of everything that I’ve accomplished as an independent artist. Back in 2014 I did my first international show in Montego Bay, Jamaica. It was a dope experience and how that all came together

Do you have any dream collaborations? Who are they?

My dream collaborations would be with Drake, Chris Brown & Timbaland

What’s your motto or the advice you live by?

My motto is ‘Live for the Moment, Not for the Memories

Are you working independently or with any production house or recording label?

I’m independent. My own company is called Light Show Ent
