In case you haven’t already interacted with this songstress Stephanie Jeannot who has astonished the music world with her trailblazing career, it is not too late to get acquainted with her and that is why I’m here. Her many strengths rest at the touchstone of her uniquely powerful voice colored with such admirable wide vocal range and the way she utilizes her freedom as an artist to cut across genres and styles whilst still managing to maintain a brand that many listeners identify her with is a feat on its own.

With the festive season fast approaching, Stephanie Jeannot has got you covered as she comes through with a dedicated 4-EP dubbed, “Let the Praises Rise: Jesus is the Reason For the Season.”

In here, she just blesses your soul with gospel tracks that seemingly transition into one another whilst still maintaining their authenticity and core themes. The first track is intriguingly titled, “Holy Holy Holy” and with such an emphasis on the title, you can already guess without straining for the effort this track has the ability to envelop your senses under a thick melodious blanket of holiness with trinity capping it off!

In “Holy Holy Holy” she features Don Hanson and together they do a commendable job. With all the horn and flute-like percussion from the instrumentation, this tune whisks a listener to the high ends of the spiritual mountains and heavenly ecstasy evoking a Christmas-like euphoria. The way Stephanie Jeannot utilizes her lead and backing vocals to fashion an orchestra should be studied in music school as a subject on its own!

There is so much emotional resonance in “Jesus is the Reason” and I especially fell in love with the way she delivers that catchy and melodious chorus. The marriage between the piano, drums, and other percussion creates the perfect bed of support for her mellifluous vocals to shine.

There is that depth of fellowship and victory in “Give Thanks” and her voice holds so much effortless power, evoking such an undeniable likability to it.

“Peace on Earth” is relaxing with its laid-back melodicism and her vocals soothe the inner and soft elements of the heart and soul as she offers such a soulful performance both in lyricism and melodicism.

There is so much fulfillment a listener is bound to derive from each track in this EP and if all goes well, you can expect it towards the end of this month and from what I’ve just listened to; everyone deserves such kind of music in their lives!

Make camp here for regular updates on this and her other projects.
