Saint Louis, MO’s finest and the self-proclaimed savior of the streets Sinseerly Tay is about to take the message deep into the ghettos in only ways he knows how. Having observed his whole journey, I feel that his undeniable lyrical gifts are complemented by his altruistic nature. As someone who grew up in the streets and found himself on the wrong side of things more often than not, he wants to use his musical talent to reach out to every soul out there; that it is indeed possible to turn over a new life. Throughout these tracks, he tells his life through the streets, the crimes, the drugs, and finally his salvation as he seeks to recruit more souls into the Gospel truth!
I had a chance to listen to some of the tracks and I can say that in typical Sinseerly Tay’s fashion, he did not disappoint; this one is going to make an impact on listeners’ souls, especially during this festive period; couldn’t have dropped at a better time!
For anyone afraid that they ain’t living right and have been falling short of God’s graces, then Sinseerly Tay and the male vocalist in “See Me Lord” will offer you something to cure your bleeding heart and hurt soul. Fear not of the prejudice from people because it is their nature and they will always judge regardless. Sinseerly Tay unleashes a lyrically weighty conversation that heals and nourishes the soul.
While the message in “Soul Tired” is fulfilling, that bass guitar intro is scintillating; the hook “The Lord is my witness mama pray for me my soul needs some cleansing” hits deep every time you listen to this tune. Sinseerly Tay is his usual calm, composed and lyrical self as he tells an emotional tale through desperation and despair.
In what will literally transform the joy of your salvation in Christ, the track “Clean Me Up Master” is sought like a lyrical confession that is deeply relatable and the performance offered here is simply soul-stirring. Sinseerly Tay really knows how to hit where it matters most!
