Norway-Based Singer and Songwriter Ruben Simonsen Has a New Emotionally Relatable Pop Song Titled “Going Crazy” Featuring the Phenomenal Toneaffair

Ruben Simonsen who hails from Tromsø in Norway admits to falling in love with music ever since he was a toddler; and since then, he absolutely knew he wanted to be associated with anything and everything music. Unfortunately, things hit a turn for the worst following the death of his father due to cancer which saw Ruben fall out of love with his passion. With time, the passion was able to slowly rekindle itself in him and he started writing songs from his heart as his way of expressing his emotions. By harmonizing and adding melodies, he was now feeling more alive and bursting with that liveliness and joy that music always provided!

Unlike many artists, Ruben Simonsen is not doing this for the money or fame; he is in music for the sole purpose of feeding and fueling his passion and love for what has always been his creative outlet and provided him with so much solace when all seemed lost. He is giving back to music the same way it did to him!

In what has been over a year, Ruben Simonsen is back with an emotionally sounding and deeply meaningful single titled “Going Crazy” in which he featured phenomenally gifted producer Julian Laping alias Toneaffair who happened to be involved in the composition of music for the soundtrack of a GOT exhibition!

I feel lucky to review this track because it is one of a kind; – one that has actually been built from the ground up with a lot of love, passion, and emotion added for deep resonance. There is a cinematic feel around the build-up and instrumentation as it starts slowly and soothingly before adopting more lively features towards the center and end.

Owing to the weight of the inspiration behind this track, there is that subtle and appropriate tinge of melancholy that the track has been built around and even the vocal delivery underscores this emotion favorably. Ruben Simonsen possesses the kind of voice that is raw and velvety and really fits in with his style impeccably.

Sometimes you can’t help but feel lonely, insecure, sad, and happy or like you’re stuck inside your own thoughts; if that is the case, then “Going Crazy” was made with you in mind. You have to let its therapeutic qualities in for maximum effect!

The accompanying visuals are also perfect and the best complement to this entrancing pop-flavored masterpiece!
