We’re lucky enough to have sneaked in for an interview with a talented artist. She was generous enough to lend some of her precious moments as we gleefully stumbled deep into her personal and professional life. Here are some excerpts from the interview:
It’s an honor to speak with you today. Why don’t you give us some details about you and your story. How did you get to where you are today?
Brandy Holmes a.k.a. Rarebreed is an all-American artist who stands for realism success and hope.
Rarebreed worries way too much meanwhile works on her faith. Rarebreed is a natural comedian who keeps people laughing with her outgoing personality. Rarebreed fell into hardship in 2017 and begin her new life with the help of Eli Uno in 2018. Her epic failure was living above her means and not focusing on her needs. So today, as she continues to grow, she would like to share her perspective with you.
Congratulations on your latest track “Covet”, how do you feel about the newfound success?
I feel very excited! The success is wonderful I am very grateful.
What was the inspiration behind the single?
My inspiration was Eli Uno he wrote “Covet” in which gave me my inspiration to go for it!
What were the biggest initial hurdles to pursuing your musical dreams and how did you overcome them?
This would be spending money to make money the trust behind it. The understanding of other’s mindsets, I overcame this by making the effort and prayer also believing in myself and having the confidence to know that I can do this too!
Are there any specific artists or albums that have influenced you through your musical journey?
Eli Uno, Elli Mae, H.E.R., Missy Elliot,
Where do you see your career headed in the following year?
Skies the limit for me! Whatever it turns out to be I would be grateful and continue to make the effort.
