Mobbluz pronounced as (Mob + Blues) is a musical collaborative representing the heart of Philadelphia and it’s spearheaded by an international female drummer “Muzikaldunk”. This band does not conform to any of the traditional genres or stereotypes and draws equally from boom-bap, hip-hop, soul, funk, pop, rock, jazz, reggae, soul, and folk music with the members ages ranging from 24-to 45 – a sensitive balance between youth and experience!
“Grand Intro” is the first single off of their upcoming EP and the inspiration comes from their deep connection to creating a sound and feel of music that anyone can connect to. As explained by drummer MuzikalDunk and musical director of Mobbluz, they were actually never meant to be a band and it just happened instantaneously – and we are glad it did!

Talk about the alluringly dominant drums – hit with clarity and precision by the one and only MuzikalDunk, the magical strings of the guitar strings sections, the colorfully added horn sections and the thrilling and skillfully integrated piano sound all veered towards a euphonious and rhythmic sound that surpasses ingenious creativity even by their impeccable standards. The moments when the bass and guitar interlock is where the real magic happens. As the boom bap beats begin taking effect, listeners are reminded that killer tone can find its place in any environment.
Overall “Grand Intro” by Mobbluz is a colorful and cool instrumental track that exemplifies the meaning of chill and intense. There is plenty of creativity and killer tone backed magnificently by the passionate and exclusively heartfelt performance by every member of the band!
