International electronic dance music producer MNA brings YaSsine DJS to the table for an epic collaboration dubbed “Lost.”
Matthew Nino Azcuy alias MNA’s career spans many disciplines; producer, author, songwriter, and professional actor. His style of music has been the result of a lifetime of musical influences and his tremendous efforts to continue honing his craft until he was able to nail down a sound that he could authentically call his own! As someone who was inspired by music from the golden age, he is obviously obsessed with timeless standards, and that particular element comes out in all of his records.
Having been friends with the famed YaSsine DJS, who made waves with his hit banger, “Skyline,” MNA decided it was about damn time they blended their musical tastes, and that is how the banger, “Lost,” was born!
An electronically transcending masterpiece, it is really hard to pin this smash record down to just one style; there is a bit of everything here, mixed and mastered under one pot to engineer an eclectic, EDM-pepped tune with dashes of house, hints of techno, and sprints of dubstep.
The vintage synth lines are inescapable, as is the high-energy electronic percussion over the deep house melodies reminiscent of the 2010s dance music scenes from such virtuosos as Swedish House Mafia, Avicii, and David Guetta.
It does not matter how physically inflexible you can be; once these undeniably transcending melodies stream in, you lose all control and uncontrollably move your body with reckless abandon without worrying what tomorrow might bring!
The enchanting male vocals do extremely well to add that crystal clear polish, sonic elegance, and variety to this authentic masterpiece that has been delivered from a lonely woman’s point of view, albeit with a hopeful anecdote that perhaps it’s for the best!
“Lost” is the sort of dance banger that absolutely translates anywhere and everywhere, whether you are listening from the comfort of your home, working out in the gym, or having the time of your life in a nightclub!
