Gary, Indiana-Based Hip-Hop Recording Artist MJ Phorell is Set to Release New Single Titled “Livin Legend”

Ever since he was a young child, growing up in the impoverished and crime-infested area of Gary, Indiana Marcus Joseph alias MJ Phorell had a thing for rap music, and I can only picture him working with pen and pad, writing rhymes and doing his best imitations of the greats in hip hop, dreaming that one day he’d carve his own lane as one of the greatest to do it from Indiana. A few years later, he found himself immersed in the music industry and living what once felt like an unattainable dream for someone like him.

As a kid who was brought up listening to authentic old-school hip-hop and rap, he believes that rap today has lost its originality.
