Miss Universe Set to Release Her Emotional EP, “No Doubts” That Has Been Dedicated to Her Nephew Teon on the 22nd of August 2022
After being in the shadows and behind the scenes as a songwriter for many years, Miss Universe AKA Camella is determined to put a face behind such accomplished songwriting by taking on the music world by herself. This London-based songstress is the future and there is something quite hauntingly identifiable about her soothing voice that fits in so perfectly with her type of music that blends the edge of modern R&b with deep melodies of neo-soul for that arresting intrigue.
She has a new EP, “No Doubts” that is dedicated to her late nephew, Teon Rakeim Campbell Pitter who tragically died at only 16 years of age. Death robbed her and her family of a Nubian prince. You know they say that the passage of time will automatically heal all wounds, but you have to understand that the greater the loss, the deeper the cut, and the more difficult the process to become whole again! As she sings to the angels, his nephew watches over her in heaven and couldn’t be more proud of her!
This EP will be dropped on the 22nd of August which celebrates Teon’s birthday. The tune, “My Brother’s Child” is a touching tribute to the prince whose life was tragically cut short. Someone who didn’t deserve such cruelty; he is gone but never forgotten! Her emotion-filled voice cries out to the heavens and makes this one of those tunes that makes you shed a tear. It is a heartfelt performance and you can feel the sad and inconsolable emotions fly from her vocals with the complementary beats that have been added a tasteful upbeat feel to at least artistically drift away from the sorrowful emotions the tune carries.
Just like her heart bleeds for Teon, everyone listening in feels like they grew together and this is such an altruistic way to honor his memory.
