What was the motivation behind such a lyrically rich and melodically unique single “TOKOOOS II”?
“The motivation behind this single came from the structure of the instrumental. The instrumental itself before making additional changes had so much free space, I knew I wanted to highlight my vocals as much as possible, while having fun with the song. It’s perfect for the end the summer I feel. “
Have you always been interested in music?
“Always. I start & end my day with music. Without music I wouldn’t be where I am today. Music is life. “
Throughout your career, tell us about your best show and your worst show. “My best show was hear in my hometown at a popular nightclub. One of my goals was to perform in my hometown. My sound is different, it takes a while to catch on but once you do, you’ll be on the dance floor.” “Personally, I don’t like to think of any of my shows as “bad” but more as learning lessons, twice I’ve had to perform with flu, that itself was a battle, but I had fun & learned from the experience. “
What do you enjoy most about being a musician? What do you hate most?
“I enjoy being able to push all boundaries and freely express myself. Whatever emotions I feel I throw into music. Even with music videos, you have to add visuals to compliment the songs Possibilities are endless.
Honestly, there’s nothing I hate about being a musician, but one thing I could live without are the assumptions or pre conceived notions people make.”
If you could change anything about the industry, what would it be? “I would change the rate at which each streaming service pays artists per stream. So you’re telling me that it’s acceptable for Spotify to pay artists $0.0084 per stream?”
If you are asked to collaborate with a renowned musician, whose name will you write down?
“African, Koffi olomide or Fally Ipupa. American, Chris Brown, it hard to narrow down because every artist I listen to inspires the music I make, it just so happens that Chris is the most I listen to.
If you had one message to give your fans, what would it be?
“Spread love and positivity always.”

“Even though I just dropped new music video for relapse & a new single… I’m working on a EP which I’m excited for everyone to hear. At least 4-6 by 2022! “
