Messiah’el Bey – the first of his name an author, composer, electronic musician, DJ, filmmaker, music producer and poet from Hempstead, Long Island. His obsession with music began at an early age and once he discovered that his passion was in music, he never looked back, trying multiple musical ventures that he could get his hands on and finally settled on his one true love of music production and poetry. The inspiration behind this track is an intriguing one and comes from a bet Bey made with his then musical partner Paul Leiba – the bet came in form of a competition to determine if they could match each other’s ability to produce dance music and when Bey got to work ‘Love Kiss Dance” was born (feels like a love story!). They honestly should make these kinds of bets more often! Behind its energy-rising slice of rhythmic beats is a resonant quality of hope and resiliency in the face of uncertainty and alienations.
