John “FEELSOUL” Futrell is a songwriter, producer, rapper, composer and poet amongst other things from New Jersey. He has been professionally making music for 6 years. He is the owner of www.thefourteenthcollective.com which he hopes to distribute exclusive music, clothing, merchandise and short films.
John start his career as part of the now-defunct Guttah State Records. John was the video editor, President and an artist on GSR. He also handled the design and creation of the website and other creative duties.
Then in 2012 co-founded Really Right Productions, as a producer with SkotPhree another producer.
John has published books, films and more. He was able to build a strong potential following through his former website www.iamkingpoetic.com in which he hosted a podcast, and uploaded 40 plus EPS and mixtapes. John has designed countless merchandise, sneakers, banners and all of his cover art.
But John decided he needed a change. He had a publishing deal with SUGO Music Group which taught him plenty of lessons. He no longer is a part of their roster. John was even part of The Private project by GOOD Music’s Malik Yusef, unfortunately things didn’t work out. After receiving consultation from Keith Clizark he changed his approach to music and business.
He holds degrees in Liberal Arts and Social Humanities, Sociology and a Masters in Sociology. All of these things is what makes John “FEELSOUL” Futrell the artist he is.
