Australia-Based Singer and Songwriter, Karen Harding, Releases the Title Track From Her Upcoming EP, “I’ve Got a Secret”
Songstress Karen Harding who hails from Melbourne in Australia has been delivering exceptional experiences to music fanatics worldwide with her thought-provoking lyrics and irresistible sounds. Whilst staying true to the goal of using music as a form of expression, her lyrics are sung with passion and purpose to endearingly touching the soul of a listener. She has a new 4-track EP, “I’ve Got A Secret” which will include a new single release every month with the entire EP available by October 2022. This therapeutic EP tells a story of fear, anxiety and insecurity. What the world doesn’t tell you that is that there is no shame in vulnerability and nothing to be gained from pushing your feelings down. By trying to live up to this ‘perfect’ image the world has of you, you sometimes get overwhelmed and you find yourself in a tight spot because you have always created a non-existent perfect side of yourself and now you are engulfed in a dark web of confusion of how to share so as to relieve yourself some of that burden. This EP understands you and the curative melodies will heal you in more ways than you could ever imagine.
The title track, “I’ve Got A Secret” is out and this guitar-dominant euphonious track combines Harding’s soulful vocals with fresh influence from indie pop- with the haunting cinematic percussion being added as the track builds on. Blending lush textures with catchy hooks and smooth melodies, this tune will do things to your soul that are indescribably magical!
She has a way with her angelic voice that serenades a listener and the way she controls it is the mark of an accomplished singer. There is an infectious sense about the rhythm from the guitar and “I’ve Got A Secret” proves itself as a solid piece of songwriting that is brilliantly performed and caringly arranged, giving listeners a highly imposing emotional tune that gets them playing the tune over and over again!
The second tune off of this EP, “Til the Ocean Meets the Shore” will be officially available from the 5th of August so stay tuned for that.
