Staring at a bleak future and on the verge of collapse, this beaten, bruised, and defeated (at the time!) young man by the name of Justin Clancy somehow manages to drag himself out of the bottomless pit consumed by drug and substance abuse and the saving hero, dressed in musical attires comes through demanding for his befitting input and imploring the prodigy to adjust a little so as to fit in perfectly to the shimmering melodic gowns! Embracing the call to dress up in the new clothes, Justin starts right off and his 2018 debut gift dubbed “The Color Blue” starts this inspiring and extremely hopeful safari! We are now talking of a Boston icon, helping shape the musical shape and having numerous honorable moments for himself: nominated for 5 Boston music awards, featured on the 2018 Warped Tour, founded the non-profit organization ‘New England Addiction Outreach’, which has encouraged over 500 people to step into detox and rehabilitation and most recently, Justin signed a record deal with Hitskope Records (Sony / The Orchard) – what a turnaround!

His musical luminaries include the likes of Stevie Wonder, Frank Ocean, Mac Miller, and BROCKHAMPTON. His hugely anticipated EP “The Ugly Parts” is scheduled for release this fall and to get us off on the journey is the premiere of the first track “Black and Blue”

“Black and Blue” gets to a lush aesthesis with the swinging of the guitar accompanied by the flavorful and deliciously rich vocals swinging a listener’s heart in all the right directions. This section is then followed in cinematic appeal with some wavy percussion draped in a rap-like session that offers further intrigue to the tune.
