Songstress Jovan Honey Marie was born in Vallejo, California as a shy sweet girl who exhibited a rapacious passion for music right from an early age and would occasionally do quick, quirky dance moves, grooving his way across the floor animatedly flailing her short arms and shoulders to her imagined music! She grew up and her confidence or lack of it allowed her to perform bathroom sessions much to the annoyance of her siblings but only time would tell as she soon become a darling and a household name in her neighborhood much to the surprise of her neighbors and friends and when she performed her own rendition of Vivian Green’s “Emotional Rollercoaster” in high school people really started paying attention and acknowledging the true scale of her potential and ability!

By the time her family was moving to Las Vegas, she had blossomed into this fierce and confident career-driven and boss lady who was about to take the world by storm. She even opened for Trey Songz fresh out of high school and had a feature on her from the Democracy Newspaper (Las Vegas), joined the gospel choir under Terrance Kelly, and surprisingly found her amazing operatic voice at 21 years old while attending Santa Rosa Junior College. Among her other gifts are: poetry, free handwriting, acting and she is also a skilled writer of both her songs and her daily diary entries. Her music luminaries include Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, Diana Ross, Beyonce’ and the intriguingly magnificent ballads of the classic Disney animation she grew up listening to!
