His rap style is deeply relatable as it is influenced by real-life happenings around him and others. His way of mature and calm, confident presentation has won him plaudits from fans and critics alike. If you are a hardcore fan of the rap music, look no further than Jeremiah Jacksun!
Jeremiah Jacksun has a new emotional single out; “Mistake” which really is from a personal point of view and here, he lyrically talks over the beats as he admits that he was in fact his most honest and free in this track. Though they are not entirely similar, listening to this raw and emotional track reminded me of Eminem’s “Cleaning out My Closet” where he came out raw, honest and just undeniably emotional!
Taking a listener through his life growing up, I particularly got moved when he references that he was raised in a house full of people but still felt alone; those words really did strike a nerve in me because I relate with them on a personal level. As you will find out throughout his poetic calibrated performance over the sensual and expressive hip hop beats, this track has a way it impacts its listener on a more personal level which really is powerful to say the least.
The gist of the track also rests on those emotionally grabbing hooks, “I made a mistake, where is my faith
I’m looking for graces, stayed up so late
Talking to God like show me the way
I ran away then I came back
I found a way & looked in the mirror
And now I can see God was looking at me right in my face”
Throughout this track’s length, I was impressed at how no curse words were uttered; it’s just clean and honest verses which is unlike what I can say about most of the hip hop tracks. Jeremiah Jacksun is really on an impressive journey here and I hope he continues making more and more music like this that so many listeners can relate to and even listen to with their families!
