8 Questions With Jávier Royal

Sheer genius is demonstrated by the fascinating versatile artist and songwriter Jávier Royal in his new single “Radioactive.” The impeccable track is creatively entertaining and captivates the audience with an immersive and catchy vibe.

We’re lucky enough to have sneaked in for an interview with a talented artist. He was generous enough to lend some of his precious moments as we gleefully stumbled deep into his personal and professional life. Here are some excerpts from the interview:

Hi, we are certainly blessed to interview such an incredible artist, when did you debut in the industry and how has your journey been so far?

I came out with my first official song entitled ‘Dance With Me’ around September of last year 2020. Being with the little resources I have, I can say I’ve came so far in terms of vocal editing, beat production and writing skills. During that time I was recording on an android in Bandlab and now I’ve upgraded to an iPhone now recording in GarageBand hopefully to a studio microphone soon. I’ve dealt with anxiety since then and I still do now but I just keep reminding myself that this is my dream and I will accomplish it.

The single “Radioactive” has garnered much attention recently, what was the inspiration behind the single?

I remembered I always said I wanted to created music that people my age can relate to, and then I thought about love. Instead of writing a classic love song, I decided to put a twist on it and write about the love- hate feeling you get of wanting to let go but at the same time you want to stay. I know many of us feel this way and maybe don’t even know, so I wrote a song that can maybe let you understand the feeling and also get to dance and have fun while singing a-long.

What do you feel is your best piece of work so far and why?

I would say ‘Radioactive’ because I put a lot of extra workin this to try bring it to perfection, and also I’ve been through these feelings before and I think if you really listen, you can hear a deeper meaning.

How did your passion for music grow?

By me seeing what a great impact i can make on someone and also having the opportunity to escape in your own little creative world, it opens my eyes and make me love and appreciate music more.

Who has helped or inspired you the most to pursue your career in music?

My mom and dad because they always believed in me no matter what. Also Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj, because I love how they just make music without caring what haters have to say.

As a well-seasoned artist, would you like to give some tips to emerging artists in the industry?

First off, don’t ever give up on your dreams and don’t let anyone say or tell you what you can’t do. You’re your own boss creatively and personally. I want you to Get up everyday or when your feeling unmotivated and look in the mirror or record yourself saying your the best, and you will achieve your dreams and goals no matter the obstacles you face, you will be the sun and shine regardless.

What is one message you would give to your fans?

Be true to your selves and don’t let nobody tell you you’re not worth it or able to do it. Tell them your a star and your brightness will never dim.

For our final question, is there anything else you would like to add?

I just wanna say if you have talents use them, let the world see how amazing you are and most importantly, let your inner Royal shine out.
