A Sustained Poetic Legendary Performance: This Is the “Quiet Majesty” EP Prerelease by Quiet Majesty
Quiet majesty is made up of two incredibly creative acts; Jacob Hauge Mateo and Ben Bushill. Jacob is a producer, singer/songwriter, pianist, and a father of two boys whereas Ben Bushill is a bard, soothsayer, wordsmith, a husband and a father of three girls. Together they form the inimitable duo with Jacob Hauge on the music and Ben Bushill on the poems to design what is a masterclass in both poetic and melodic transcendence! Their 6-piece EP “Quiet Majesty” breathes life through the jungle and exudes wisdom in its finest art, drifting through the sounds of a sometimes barren jungle and reconnecting to the awe, wonder, and majesty that any listener who feels a connection to spoken word will relish monumentally!
This is a powerful showcase of art gallery with the pieces blending moving energy and natural genius of the two creators and infusing a listener’s mindset, heartset and soulset in ways words would not really describe. Everything is fresh from the title piece “Quiet Majesty” with introspective quality at the base; true to the words of wisdom at the base “This merciless and merciful life demands nothing less than a sacrifice of everything we imagine ourselves to be!”
“A Prayer for all Faiths” serenades in its full radiant glory, perhaps speaking to the fainting heart of the night but giving hope for all at the same time. The emotionally captured melodicism that escorts it really breathtaking and captures the realm of a world beyond!
The fright of a father with nothing but love and the hope of being there for their children and protecting them from the unforeseen dangers of the world follow a defined euphonic path in “Fatherhood” in what is one of the most honest poetic outpourings you are about to experience.
“Little Spark” tickles and splashes its tiny yet effective melodic spark with somewhat vocal interpolations that sing to the heavens and “Bow Your Head” has what I would describe as wolfing vocals that stream out of the quiet jungle and bring to attention the presence of a wolf king in dire need of company!
The intrigue is in the effect that each of these poetic pieces has on a listener and what is open to interpretation about how each one makes you feel; one this is undeniable though is that this is magical, effective and evokes some meditative feelings hidden from within. “Quiet Majesty” is set for official release on all major platforms on Good Friday 15th of April 2022.
