You can call him a superhero the way he has been saving rap music from threats of extinction; Gsthagreat is the name you need to familiarize yourself with because he comes carrying the energy of the streets, the rule-breaking swagger of a pirate, and the daredevil spirit of a skydiver! Having changed the rules of the game to conform to him, Gsthagreat is an artist to watch out for! He has overcome tremendous adversity by choosing instead to fight, displaying such fortitude, grit, determination, and power to chase after his dreams. The man he is now is a result of everything he’s had to go through and endure. Each experience, good and bad, has forged him into the man of steel we’re lucky to have in the hip-hop world—enjoy him while you can!

“Compton Me” had me in my feelings from the first note all the way to the last one; it got me wishing I had known about it much earlier. This is an epic-sounding masterpiece performed from the heart and soul and given that underground bite to get you hooked from start to finish!

Aside from the hypnotic beats, Gsthagreat’s hard and raw delivery is a sight to behold. This is what hardcore felt like back in the day, and I couldn’t help but get transported back there throughout the track’s length!

Straight-talking and respectably raw, Gsthagreat details the good, bad, and ugly of growing up in the streets of Compton, the history of violence and hard work, and the two sides of the coin of being black and white. He tackles every bit of the topic with such vigor and weight, going heavy from start to finish and not once pausing to take a breath—just straight bars and nothing else!

This is what real rap used to feel like, and I’m actually disturbed that a masterpiece of this stature hasn’t gotten the recognition it deserves, but me and you, together, could change this status quo starting now!

And before that, who made those beats because, damn, I’m still not over them!

As I was saying, “Compton Me” needs more listeners; follow the attached link, add it to your playlist, and share it massively everywhere worth sharing!
