Grant Kemp,  or simply GK, is a singer and performer who is proud to be one of the top talents of his generation. He is a powerful artist whose musical approach crosses stylistic boundaries. GK combines exceptional vocal agility and talent with an innate ability to get to the heart of every song he writes. His repertoire includes immaculate pop, punk, and rock standards, as well as contemporary music, demonstrating an undeniable ability to harness the talent that transitions fluidly between powerhouse delivery and lyrical sound. He has collaborated with rap giants such as Guapdad 4000, Post Malone signee Clever, and many others.

Grant Kemp is set to release a new four-track EP titled “GK”- a transcendental souvenir that blurs the limits between rock, pop, and punk. Each track skillfully transitions into the next while maintaining its own authenticity and originality.

What you get from this 4-piece collection is one that respectfully honors the lines present in multi-genre aesthesis whilst using its creative springboard to reach an exciting new musical ground. Kemp opted for a gloriously cinematic feeling orchestral piece that feels grand in scope and wonderfully expressive in its execution. The instrumentation for each and every track is immaculately chosen and offers listeners a timbrally diverse and tonally rich palette of sounds to ingest.

“I Wouldn’t Miss Me” features guest artist 408 and in this masterpiece, Grant adds that certain dash of dominant rock flair to the arrangement with a flavorful addition of strong rhythmic gusto provided by the imposing percussive elements. Emotion-filled, this is exactly the type to get you pumped up and losing your own relatable emotions to- that chorus is supercharged and pulls a listener into an emotional stupor!

“Punk Rock Barbie” is just as the title suggests; this authentic banger is positively bursting with both sonic elegance and crystal clear polish. Superbly performed, exquisitely produced, and lovingly arranged, there isn’t really much you could ask for, is there?

“Tragic” and “Undateable” are up there as masterpieces in rock music transcendence with their rhythmic incandescence lighting up the spirits from within a listener’s heart. The melodic improvisations in the music make the tracks ebb more towards an industrial feel that feels sanctuary.

“GK” allows Grant to dive deeper into groundbreaking and innovative sonic aesthetics to set the bar higher. Listening to the entire EP and my admiration for him is somewhere blurring the lines between mountainous respect and visceral disbelief at such ingenuity! The lively anthems and the vocals that transcend regular singing, at times feeling like they are the instruments themselves and interacting beautifully with the dutiful drums, atmospheric guitars and other complex instrumentation is really the story of “GK.”

This EP is definitely an easy recommendation to anyone who enjoys their rock music classic and evocative and added a definitive emotionally relatable telltale;  so stay tuned for the release for this is not one you wish to miss out on.
