A Multicultural Integration Project Born of Italy and Senegal; “Every Human Needs a Human” by Renowned Senegalese Percussionist, Ismaila Mbaye and Italian Band La Scelta

Ismaila Mbaye is an internationally acclaimed Senegalese percussionist, musician, and actor. He is considered as one of the most distinguished percussionists on the European scene. He is the founder of the Tribal Percussion and plays with “Kilimangairo Band” where he has been involved on a project for 9 years on RA13 “Alle falde del Kilimangiaro”. Mbaiye has also graced some television programs as a musician such as: Maurizio Costanzo Show on channel 5, Fiorello’s Saturday evening on Rai1, a “Poet as a friend” dedicated to Massimo Troisi with Enzo Decaro Rai1, “The world together” TV2000 with Licia Coló , and recently the TV show by Giorgio Panariello “Under the tree” on Rai1, Tonight Casa Mika 1-2, Concert of May 1st with Med Free Orkestra Rai3.

Like the multitalented savvy, he is he has also been involved in numerous films and tours as an artist and actor. He has received several admirable accolades such as in 2013 Capri Hollywood Film Festival as one of the most influential musicians and groups in Italy, 2016’s Humanitarian Ambassador to the MusicAfrica event in Rome, 2019 Black Movie Award for the best soundtrack in Daniele Faleri’s short fil “The drop and the sea” and many others.

Ismaila Mbaye is a benevolent ambassador for peace, love, and integration and he has taken on his role with a commendable sense of ownership and has been impacting the world in his own selfless and powerful ways through music and acting- proving that apart from being rich in talent, he is also wealthy at heart with a towering gift and a mammoth heart painted with decency and integrity! The tune “Every Human needs a Human” is a universally resonant tune in both the message behind the lyrics and the diversity in the melody!

This special tune and video that was made during the spring of 2021 is a multicultural integration project between Italy and Senegal and to a larger extent the different continents and people all over the world; the dignified message on the show is effectively loud as possible- everybody needs somebody, no man is an island and we could do greater things when we come together as the human race.

The lead vocalist from the Italian band La Scelta does a sensation job of offering that diversity to the tune and complements those beats honorably with his own candid vocals.

The video is a cocktail of diverse and impactful clips that showcase the different people from different races all united under the melting glow of the danceable beats and singing along to the universally appealing words behind the lyrics.
