The Singing Chiropractor Donny Van Slee Set to Officially Release His New Single, “Spencer’s Song” on September 9th 2022

A practicing chiropractor by weekday, you will find Dr. Donny Van Slee performing at honky tonks in downtown Broadway in the glittering Nashville city of Tennessee. He has had a very exciting journey thus far but one thing has remained clear as the light of day- he is not giving up on his music dreams just yet. He is swiftly stealing the hearts of Nashville residents with his performances and from what I’ve heard so far, it won’t be long before the whole world is singing to his songs.

He has that golden voice, so unblemished and effortlessly powerful that feels like candy (that type of voice you’d want to have for breakfast!) He has a quality single, “Spencer’s Song”- an engrossing country ballad that will be officially available for streaming on September 9th, 2022.

This track was inspired by his friend Spencer whom he met after a show on Broadway in downtown Nashville. Spencer is the member of a musical duo with over 1 million followers on TikTok. While they were hanging out one day, Donny found out that Spencer still has a day job. They shared a few laughs over the topic and several months down the line a full single was born of this casual moment, “Spencer’s Song.”

This is one of those songs I listened to and felt like my ears had been graced by a star performer; top-notch artistry and delivery from the first note down to the last one. Van Slee’s  vocals melt over the acoustic-dominant melody like butter as he gives an ode to an authentic country-inspired storyline with a memorable chorus in between the verses. There is colorful thematic added for –pleasure such as a steel guitar and cajon percussion but that raw, honest, and faultless vocal performance really highlights this single.
