Interview: Dj Marty McFly Shares Insights on His Musical Journey

What would you say is the most rewarding part of being a DJ and music producer?
The results and seeing the end people enjoying your music!

What do you usually start with when preparing for a set?
I always like to take people on a journey, so keeping the tempo slowly slower then building it up

How do you go about producing a song?
I take alloy of inspiration from my home Ibiza, it’s the home of dance music and full of very creative people.

Do you have a favorite musical project that you’ve worked on?
All of them so far!

What would your autobiography be called?
Back to the future!

Is there an artist you want to work with that you have not yet had the opportunity to work with?
One of my favorites is Sebastian Ledger.

What do you like to do for fun outside of working on music?
Travelling, living in Ibiza means lots of sunshine and beaches! I also work in Social media so creating fresh content is always fun.

For our final question, is there anything else you would like to add?
Only one thing, through life’s journey I have learned often we chase things that we think we want but actually when we get them we don’t, unfortunately Social media has created fake people or people wanting to be something they are not, just be original, be you and enjoy life, you are not a actor in a film or a soap opera its your life and live it!
