When did you first think of becoming a DJ and Music producer and was it a nonchalant decision?
It just sort of happened. I became a DJ and Music producer at 13 years old. A DJ from KUBE 93 in Seattle would play shows at our middle school dances and eventually trained me on how to talk on the mic, mix songs, and what songs to play that get crowds hype.
Congratulations on your latest single “I Get It In”, how do you feel about the newfound success and what was the motivation?
Thanks! It takes a lot of work to be successful. The success of “I Get It In” is from everyone in radio such as Robert Rivers from Star Power Radio in New Year, K Alex T Show in Mississippi, TazDatMC and Big S.I.N. in Seattle. Even the Club DJ’s like SPACEAGE TIMMY in North Carolina, Mariah in Texas, djlaroc in Detroit, A-ok in Toronto deserve a huge thank you!
How do you motivate yourself when things are not going your way as your profession requires a lot of effort?
Great question! I go to Starbucks and order the PJ special. After that I get to the studio and play 2 Chainz Bandz A Make Her Dance extremely loud. Once the song is over I’m motivated.
What goals have you accomplished? What goals are you still working towards?
Successfully releasing “I Get It In” on YouTube and Spotify. It’s officially been released in AMI jukeboxes in over 6,500 Bars, Restaurants, Clubs and Casinos. I’m grateful for all of its early success. For future goals, getting the song in sports stadiums as a theme for a player or when a touchdown is scored. The song in general is a dedication to the working people who love work and love to party.
What’s your motto or the advice you live by?
I have a few mottos. Life is short so enjoy the moment and try to learn something new every day.
What’s something most people don’t know about you?
I have an extreme fear of antique furniture.
If you are asked to collaborate with a renowned musician, whose name will you write down?
Saweetie would be my first choice. She has a fun vibe with twerk values that a DJ like myself can play on a club dance floor. I got some fire beats for her when she’s ready.
If you had one message to give your fans, what would it be?
Have a drink or two, working every week nonstop. Make some money so we could have fun. No matter where you from, turn up you’re welcome
For our final question, is there anything else you would like to add?
Yes. I want to thank you for the interview and taking the time to ask me questions. I greatly appreciate it.
