“Toxic.Bae” is hands up my favorite song on the project, although the entire Ep is a regal body of work and proof that she puts her heart and soul into the craft. a dying characteristic of R&B songs of late.

“Toxic.Bae” finds Divine reflects on her toxic relationship and how badly she wants the relationship to work. She pours her soul into this song. The song sums up all the feelings of wanting to be in that certain comfort zone when having to deal with a toxic partner.

It features an intense and stunning electrical guitar riff, while Divine’s divine vocals powerfully take over the mic. Beautiful piano sounds are integrated into the song softening the presence of its emotional lyrics while allowing each sound to flow freely into the ears of the listener.
