All the way from North West London, Deuxes is a musical duo made up of two exceptionally gifted multi-instrumentalist sisters who have been making their mark with their authentic genre-bending style that blends the grandiose of soul train with flavorful elements in pop, rock, funk, and other indie influences. With them, everything goes and after listening to the second release, “Ripping At The Seams” which is set officially drop on the 2nd of August on all the digital platforms, I can confidently say they are the duo to watch out for. Draped in style and authenticity, this group’s love for the craft is evident on stage as it is on paper!

“Ripping At The Seams” is that type of feel-good dedicated track that you can never get enough off. Right from the introduction, the track hits you with a refreshing soul-train infused melody that is so fascinating. On top of this, the enticing lead and backing vocals do the most to make an impression on the listener.

The way the mouth-watering cocktail of the bass, guitar, and vocals amalgamate and then culminate to a sound infused with a ton of soul-train and still flexes its indie pop harmonies with a dash of funk, is undeniably the mark of indescribable beauty. This is the type of track that grows on you and grounds your feeling towards euphoria as you uncontrollably give in to its immersive melodies and take to the floor, losing yourself without a care in the world!

This track carries the nostalgia of the early 70s and 80s soul anthems and the enchanting vocal performances add a futuristic flavor that is so agreeable to hear and that is why this will be a straight favorite to very many listeners.

This track is their second release and it is off of “Loud” EP set to be dropped in the late autumn 2022. There will also be an accompanying music video for the same which will echo that 70’s funk and soul train influence both in apologue and storyline.

Stay tuned for this and the much more awaiting to come as Deuxes have barely even scratched the surface!
