With “ a bag of clothes, my trumpet and 6 dollars” to his name, David Longoria had had an… ‘eventful’ journey in his path to actualize his music career over the years. It was with this that at 17 years old, he decided to move to Hollywood, where he’d come to blossom into the current multi-faceted artist that he currently is to this day.

The multi awards winning artist, singer, trumpeter, songwriter & producer has topped the US Billboard charts in several genres from jazz to dance, gospel, rock & classical music.
Having just started with his recording sessions on his trumpet for tv shows, movies and albums, he came to meet the Gospel icon, Andre Crouch, who went on to coach him on his song-writing abilities. And with fate favoring our golden star, he was later introduced by Andre to the legendary Quincy Jones who also shared many words of advice and mentorship over the years as David kept on following his dreams.

And in his most recent culmination of his efforts, David Longoria has again been able to skilfully blend his many flavors into one unmistakably unique sound in his track “We Are One”. David wrote the song in 2017 to pay homage to Michael Jackson’s & Lionel Ritchie’s all-time classic “We are the World”; which was a charity effort to bring awareness to the trials ongoing within Africa and to harmonize the Earth’s peoples to our true calling… Love & Unity.

Flexing his ‘producer muscles’, David has perfectly blended the vastly different genres that the 750 collaborating artists; yes, that’s not a typo… 750 artists; brought to the table. From EDM (Electronic Dance Music) to opera, each of the 750 recording artists sings with David on this global phenomenon to bring a flavor that makes up the final symphony.

Moreover, throughout the sound in “We Are One”, the listeners get to see the influence his experience has been a street performer has had on him. You can really feel his ability to work a crowd through every beat and almost hope you’d get to experience this kind of positive energy live and bask in his call for one people as we all trudge through the struggle of living.

If you ever had any fears that you may not have a community to welcome you… you may rest assured knowing that any performances held by David will be packed full of strangers’ embraces & the acceptance that everyone is just trying their best on this floating blue planet of ours.

Sit still and feel the love and melody… “We Are One”
