New Banger Alert; Multi-Talented Singer, Rapper and Songwriter dat_Rasta Debuts His New Track, “Heartstrings”

Aiden Le Roy Singleton alias dat_Rasta is a jack of all trades and surprisingly, a master of all; this US-based rapper, singer and songwriter is also a recognized YouTuber, Editor and producer who writes, produces, mixes, masters and makes his own music video as well as those of others. He is an ingenious creative and has a way with animation visuals, so if you’re looking for the perfect visuals for your videos or anything, he is your guy. He has been working with other artists in as far as music is concerned but he now wishes to make his own footing in as far as his career as a solo artist is concerned. Many have confused him to be Jamaican I guess due to his stage name but he wants to reiterate that he couldn’t think of anyone from his lineage with Caribbean roots (all pun intended!)

He has a debut release, “Heartstrings” which he recently released and for a start, it really is doing exceptionally great with more than 6.5 k streams on Spotify alone. Just like his personality, this track takes numerous forms; it carries multiple elements with the emo-inspired delivery over the modern hip-hop instrumentation that boasts blazing beats and compelling percussion its conspicuous highlight.

“Heartstrings” gets off to a charming piano intro that is blended with the bouncing wave of synth percussion before the track culminates to a tremendous blazer as the deep-phased bass married with the drums and other complex instruments make this a hedonistic banger that is matched with speed and affluence by dat_Rasta’s lyrical magnificence.

He displays such effortless ease in the way he is able to sing through and deliver memorable hooks as well as drop some show-stopping bars of his own- his own voice taking multiple forms when singing and when rapping. “Heartstrings” is really for the hopeless romantic who can’t help but reminisce over a past relationship as they feel they messed up and don’t want to express that vulnerability side but still want that love back all the same (I’m sure most of us have been caught up in such a situation).

For a start, this is genuinely commendable and I can only see things getting better from here for dat_Rasta and his music career.
