This Is the True Profoundly Touching and Vividly Moving Story of Multi-Genre Artist Daniel AMP

They say that the passage of time will heal all wounds, but the greater the loss, the deeper the cut and the more difficult the process to become whole again; this is not less true for the iconic figure and inspiring artist Daniel AMP who we have come to lovingly endear to through his exceedingly creative and expressive genre-defying melodic tunes.

For someone who has hit rock bottom and found his way up albeit a little shaken, there isn’t an inspiring story I’d rather tell than this one. Like he explains it “His life has been like a horror film through the night before the morning light!” And before you despair, just know there is light at the end of the tunnel and what we’d all call a happy ending – the message to take home is that on the other side of every tragedy lives a triumph and beyond adversity exists a bridge into enduring victory!

Daniel AMP is from New York City and was raised by his grandmother. Growing up he had no positive male role model to look up to see that even his own father was a drug addict. New York City like many fast cities has all sorts of cultural influences and especially the bad ones with the gangs, drug use, and all manners of atrocities embellishing this beautiful city and within no time, Daniel found himself on the wrong side of the crowd and before he knew it, he was stabbed 5 times – this also means that he was among the lucky ones to survive as he has buried all of his childhood friends! He spent most of his childhood homeless, bouncing from one shelter to the other without any hope of making a life for himself.

He was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes in the year 2021 which saw him spend most of his time in the ICU, his blood sugar which had spiked to abnormal levels of 1500 being closely monitored. As if this is not already too much for one person, he also suffers from PTSD and Brain Trauma, two very detrimental mental health diseases. At many times in his life, he has lost all hope and dared to give up even cutting his arm wishing all could just disappear, as he like any normal person had been overwhelmed and just wanted all the pain and suffering to end. In this moment of utter hopelessness, ignominy and destitution he somehow found his saving grace – a moment to behold, the light to see again, and the hope to live again!

Nothing lasts forever and believe it or not, Daniel went from the verge of collapsing to one of the household names in music industry today with some of his music being featured on Netflix, The NBA, ESPN, the NFL, UFC, Amazon Prime, and countless other. He has headlined his own tour and performed in front of over 70,000 fans! As I said, inspiration doesn’t get bigger than this. The lesson learned is that times will probably get tougher before they get any better and the best we can do is to not give up, we’ve got to hold on tight and have faith to believe in possibility. Otherwise, we predetermine our fate with doubt, which is preposterous because no one knows the future. The lessons from Daniel’s story are universal, positive, and profoundly applicable to life.

In all disorder, they is secret order and we have it within ourselves to triumph by overcoming the violence and hunting vampires of our past terrors so that the great hero encoded within our souls meet the light of day and enable us to become what we are meant to be – makers of spectacular work as leaders without titles and human beings dedicated to living in awe of life’s most gorgeous graces – To us!
