Blending the traditional with the unusual to cultivate an eclectic concoction of rock music that floods the melodic, rhythmic, and harmonic gates with special intrigue and redefined authenticity is Dan Szyller; an artist whose passion for creating music that is both accessible and transcendent has garnered attention from fans around the world. His music is inspired by real-life events and life experiences such as his life as an immigrant. Dan Szyller utilizes a vast array of guitars and ambient sounds to create moving meditations on nature, time, and space. He pairs his music with evocative imagery that goes on to display his love for the style and passion for the craft- drawing listeners in quickly with the energy and excitement of the transcending sound that exists between the boundaries of the rock genre.

And now the heavens are rejoicing and the art of science has been put to the test with the release of his 7-piece album “The Celestial Immigrant” – a stupefying musical collection brimming with emotional inquiry and combined with guitar virtuosity and showmanship that quenches the insatiable appetite for creative output.

Sadness pervades the lyrics in “Sunday Again,” with a weight floating above the music that gradually increases the pressure and keeps you on the edge of your seat until the track ends. Dan Szyller utilizes his avid storytelling scheme to produce a therapeutic dose and for anyone out there feeling sad and lonely; this is the tune to relate with. This is that song that exudes emotions in its raw and physical elements!

Szyller’s ability to build a narrative is truly impressive and with “Interstellar (Voyager 1)” he does it with nothing but just instruments and a voice-over. Taking you through a journey in space and time, Szyller carefully explores the idea of the Voyager 1 space probe which was NASA’s project in 1977 with a mission to investigate and study the outer Solar System and interstellar space beyond the Sun’s heliosphere.

Lots of the good ole’ electric string, though. Passed through a cold reverb with every pluck. And with most tracks Dan is resolutely insistent upon mixing in multiple solo recordings to give the effect of varied band’s timbre. As I write this “My Road” might be my new favorite. I say might as this award will most certainly change as I make my way again and again through the tracks.

After all of this, I believe your curiosity and melodic appetite have been piqued, and you don’t have to worry any longer because the album is out and available for streaming, and by following the attached link, you give yourself a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to experience greatness, live and in High Resolution.
