Daddy T Dutty Foreigner was born in the smooth Caribbean island of Jamaica before he moved to the USA in the early 80’s where he grew up. He has always carried his love for dancehall, reggae, reggaeton and roots love all through and while he was initially doing music for fun, he later decided it was that damn time the music world got to witness that Caribbean-influenced juice as he takes the steering wheel and drives listeners through glittering cities brimming with the nostalgic dancehall melodies, just like we remember them.

He has currently been riding on the wave of momentum created by his, “Keeping It Jiggy” EP with some deserved singles in there like, “This Love” being showered with that global love with some massive stream numbers so far. He has a new banger dubbed, “Wine Up”- a refreshing dancehall tune that makes you want to move your body and waist if it’s flexible enough!

One thing about dancehall tracks is that they are the best to exercise to and this is no different- once it hits the speakers you just feel some wild energy that wants to be released and soon you find yourself sweating it up on the floor, moving your body in perfect sync to the beats. For any stranger, you wouldn’t really differentiate this record from let’s say an Icon like Beenie Man’s- which goes on to show the star quality to Daddy T Dutty Foreigner’s game!

Like many reggae-inspired tracks, “Wine Up” has that dembow influence and boasts an abundance of modern instruments that have been stupendously arranged to give it a very warm, addicting, and danceable feel. Foreigner easily makes this an anthem with those memorable hooks and as we know dancehall mimics hip-hop delivery which sees Dutty jump on the wave with his Jamaican-influenced flows to add depth to this performance.

“Wine Up” is a track capable of lifting the mood in any setting and if you have your lady with you, just push the play button and watch her “wine up” that waist on repeat!
