Clara Zimm Releases a New Single ‘Down The Drain’

Well, if you’re diverse and well-known with Trip-hop groove, then you should get into the music of Clara Zimm who is a  highly motivated and amazing singer/songwriter with a completely special approach to the genre. Her music is rather kaleidoscopic, sampling from genres as varied as R&B, Soul, electronica, dubstep, and Hip-Hopera, just to name a few. The vocal range of Clara is particularly impressive. She’s capable of singing with passion and soulfulness, though she’s exhibiting incredible lyrical mastery and vocal control. Her dynamics are completely spotless, and she is genuinely capable of moving a song from quiet to noisy, bringing audiences hand in hand on an incredible emotional roller coaster.

She brings out a classic singer’s atmosphere on “Down the drain.” The verses ride on a steady, low-tempo, mellow organ track Trip-hop groove. Zimm sings in a sweet and grievous tone wich brings this unique timeless and cinematographic sound. With Trap Hi-hats and a soulful R&B lead vocal and back harmonies, her choir adds a more modern edges to the track.  Clara Zimm has, rather unquestionably, one of the most individual, unique sounds around right now.
