After listening to some of his craft, it is perhaps wise of me to say that Canadian recording artist Buggie Bars just makes music for the soul. Wearing his heart on his sleeve, Bars has just been expressing his authentic generational sound through his purposeful lyrics and melodies, leading to his work culminating as a catalyst towards revolutionary progression. He does not make music just for the sake of it—he makes conscious music with positive and empowering messages; Buggie expresses being creatively informative for the future to educate his audiences. He is back on the music scene with what I feel is an addictive, inspirational, and spectacular new single dubbed “Shine.” This is the kind of track that you just don’t get over with one listen only; I have been playing it on repeat, and with each successive listen, it just gets better.

An enchanting release that is detail-oriented and fully realized, Buggie Bars seamlessly blends hip hop and soulful R&B with his sweet-talking, euphonious, and cottony vocals, which just slink through the melodies in an earworm-type of way that will remain with you outside of this track.
