“Dávka” consists of nine tracks and offers 39 minutes and 40 seconds of cathartic and visceral listening experience from the eclectic Middle Eastern fusion project Baklava Express, which is fronted by oud player Josh Kaye. This musical band has been gearing toward a genre-bending style of music as they push the genre boundaries, not allowing themselves to be limited to the type of music they provide.

The band has been able to build a strong foundation around the traditional Arab-influenced sound that is seamlessly stretched to fit in with a plethora of different sounds, including jazz, flamenco, rock, and an eastern European folk sound.
