AussieATL (DJ Vogel) is a breakthrough DJ and Producer who brings his ecstatic rapturous style to the modern techno and EDM to fashion an authentic and deeply resonant type of style that feel the hearts of techno, house, and EDM fans with thrill and exhilaration. Originally from Australia, with roots in Germany and Atlanta, the US, AussieATL’s sonic drip stems from his euphoric upbringing in Germany’s golden techno era. He came through the music system as a DJ spinning drum n’ bass and jungle at Schwimmbad Club, where he opened for acts like Scooter, U96 and Haddaway, and it was while at it that he continued transitioning to hard-style as his preferred genre. After taking a decade-long break, AussieATL kick-started his reemergence on the techno scene by live streaming over on Twitch.
AussieATL, having consulted with the improvisational skills at his arsenal decided to do something albeit differently by expanding his catalog and musicality and that led to the birth of “Blue Gem Moment”- an 8-piece stunningly innovated and mashed up a sonic sphere that features some astoundingly produced, written and performed tracks. It is a one in all record with some alternative rocks, some aesthetic pop blend, R&B/Hip-hop and numerous experimentations in his trademark techno adroitness.
You will marvel at the pop and hip-hop cadence in “Take My Time” which he featured Cliff Rider and the emotional, laid-back melodically shimmering “I Get Scared” will do things to your heart. The stars in “Stars” featuring Michael Domaris align in a vulnerable moment of melodic transcendence and light up the skies. “Alone” is a special emotion-filled ballad and so are “Not the end” and “Almost Wish”.
The focus for today however will be the track “Say It Too” featuring Kellin Quinn- a powerfully crafted alternative rock with some proficiently improvised and daring melodic sparks with the way the dutiful drums, the synthetic bass and the charged up guitars jump out at a listener with tremendous rhythm and melody! The backing scratchy, rock-defining vocals slink through and wave over the instrumentation with a certain undeterred swag and attitude and design a cinematic melody that feels like it will go on to withstand the test of time for generations to indulge in its timelessness!
The better part about the whole of this music expedition is that it is heartbreak-inspired and when that happens you always know you are in for a treat of your lifetime and this is no different- follow the attached link, pour yourself an insanely huge amount of bourbon, pump up the volume and let “Blue Gem Moment” take over the ambiance!
