So, let’s dig right into I,t shall we? The opener “LEVITATION” is this psychedelic masterclass that is distinctive and intoxicating, to say the least. From a rhythmic standpoint, this track thrives on a minimalist yet deeply infectious percussive foundation. The bassline is thick, punchy, and syncopated in a way that gives it a playful, almost teasing quality. Antonio’s alluring vocals don’t just ride the beat, they dance with it, slinking in and out of pocket with precision. The crisp, live-sounding drums feel almost tangible like they were designed to hit with a human touch rather than a quantized machine loop.
What I am trying to say is that with “LEVITATION,” the rhythmic cadence is undeniable. In a way, it feels like the jam has been built around a stop-and-go dynamic that keeps the groove instantly taunting the listener. The jam leans into funk sensibilities but keeps things sparse, letting the rhythm breathe in a way that makes every note and every percussive hit feel intentional. This is a personal favorite.
“LAWLESS” features an alluring into where the hypnotic strum of guitars echoes the kind of comforting embrace of something akin to Bob Marley’s “Stir It Up.” The track has been shaped in an almost eerie, alternative pop dreamscape, and the bass hums with quite authority, its groove both grounding and fluid, moving like a slow heartbeat beneath the surface. The track also features soft synth pads, creating this ethereal presence that weaves through the air while Antonio’s reverberating vocals hover just above, tender, soulful, and haunting.
